As a Scrum Professional II, you'll guide teams and the organization on how to use Agile and Scrum practices to impact the delivery of client projects, and how to self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile and Scrum frameworks. You'll assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization, and coach the team to higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable, while removing impediments, or guiding the team to remove impediments. You'll facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution and assist with internal and external communication, improve transparency, and radiate information. Additionally, you will serve as an authority to the Scrum Framework and will be implementating new scrum teams, while providing recommendations on improving Agile development and best practices. You'll support and educate the Product Owner on grooming and maintaining the product backlog, provide all support to the team using a servant leadership style, and guide the team and organization on how to use Agile and Scrum practices and values.

- Support a range of technical disciplines from software engineering to hardware to cyber to testing automation on a Scrum Team

- Lead the efforts of developing Scaled Agile engineering and management best practices, metrics, and audit practices

- Facilitate daily Scrum meetings and regular ceremonies
- Lead the iterative solution lifecycle from executable architecture to maintenance, including: concept development, iterative design, production, delivery and deployment
- Innovative thinker with good problem solving and communication skills
- Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum and Waterfall
- Familiarity with CM/build tools such as Jenkins and Subversion
- Strong team player motivated by team success
- Bachelor's degree in related engineering discipline and typically 3+ years of relevant experience
- 2+ years of demonstrated experience in Scrum Master role
- 2+ years of Project Management or Business Analyst experience in an Agile environment
- Working proficiency of project management and issue tracking tools such as Jira and Redmine
- Have an understanding of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification from an industry-recognized certifying organization
- Experience running standard Scrum meetings
- Experience with the project lifecycle (preliminary design through maintenance phases) using Agile principles

- Background in software development or software development management
- Knowledge of System Engineering principles and requirements management
- Experience with transitioning teams from Waterfall to Agile methods and practices
- Experience working at an organization going through an Agile transformation
- Knowledge of the CMMI Level 3 process model
- Understanding of industry-standard software languages
- Understanding of embedded systems and software that interacts with hardware
- Experience implementing Agile principles and practices within DoD or Federal government environments
- Experience in the GEOINT community
- Bonus Points if:
- Experience with R4j
- Active certification held for one or more of the following: Certified SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), Certified Scrum at Scale Practitioner, Certified Agile Coach, Certified facilitator, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified Scrum Trainer, and Project Management Professional (PMP)
