Job Duties and Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Articulation of security principles and technology standards that guide the design, engineering, and deployment of secure environments
  • Collaboration with InfoSec and other Architecture teams on reference architecture that help mitigate security risks within the environment
  • Thinks and acts strategically, staying abreast of trends and advances in IT/Cybersecurity threats and solutions while applying that knowledge to changes in the operating environment
  • Provides thought leadership using business communications, active collaboration, and leading cross-functional groups to deliver secure solutions that meet business goals
  • Develops external partnerships with vendors and outside entities as appropriate, and develops, maintains, and communicates the architectural strategy in partnership with senior business leaders
  • Takes ownership of key initiatives, coordinating strategies with other teams and leaders through execution
  • Present business updates, recommendations, strategic opportunities and assessments to leadership and senior management as needed

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Skills, Experience and Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, related discipline, or commensurate industry experience
  • At least 10 years IT Experience / 4 years Cybersecurity Experience, demonstrating experience in the following areas: Architecture Security, IAM, network protocol security, trusted zones, PCI architecture, application security, domain segmentation, data protection (in-transit, at-rest), routing, firewall architecture, and automation of processes
  • Experience working in a risk based environment including assessment, remediation/mitigation, planning and implementation
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills. including the ability to simplify key messages, present compelling stories and promote technical and personal credibility with internal and external executives, and both technical and non-technical audiences

Desirable:
  • AWS experience/expertise
  • Experience with microservices architectures
  • Telco experience

Salary Range Compensation: $140,250.00/Year - $189,750.00/Year
