The Sr. Cloud Engineer will be responsible for the engineering and operations of next-generation hybrid multi-cloud environment with on premise and cloud resources, Tier III platform support and change control process. This individual will also work closely with, applications; cyber security, architects, and other teams to ensure services are designed to meet SNC's needs, and are meeting SLA along with adhering to SNC's security and compliance requirements.

Must Haves:

Bachelor's Degree in a related field with at least 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
- Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Demonstrated experience maintaining a security and compliance mindset within heavily regulated environments
5 + years' experience implementing and supporting AWS and Azure Cloud Operations
5 + years' experience implementing and supporting VMware
5 + years' experience with IT Operations Monitoring Tools
5 + years' experience designing and implementing cloud solutions using IAAS and PAAS
Experience using Infrastructure as Code while applying DevSecOps principles and practices
Ability to Troubleshoot Network connectivity between Server Infrastructure
Experience with drafting reference architecture
Strong working knowledge of Identity Architecture concepts and solutions such as SAML 2.0, OpenID/Oauth, Kerberos, etc.
Experience with Identity Platforms such as ADFS, Azure AD, and/or Okta
Ability to configure and manage Windows and Linux servers
Cloud Solutions Architect Associate level certifications in AWS and/or Azure
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required. Learn more about the background check process for Security Clearances

Preferred:

Knowledge of virtual firewalls, IPSEC VPN tunnels, and networks in AWS cloud environment preferred.
Experience in migrating standalone infrastructure to AWS and Azure
Understanding of and experience with the five pillars of a well-architected framework
Proven ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of business analysts, developers, data scientists, and subject matter experts
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels of an organization.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
At least one of the following Certifications:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate
- AWS Certified Developer - Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions
- Microsoft Certified: Architecting Microsoft Azure Subscription

Important Notice:

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and illegal drug use.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $117,040.88 - $160,931.20

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.

In accordance with Executive Order 14042: Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors, SNC Is required to comply with protocols.
