- 5+ years of full-stack software development experience
- Experience with one or more various programming languages/technologies (i.e. C#, Java, C/C, Objective C, JavaScript, Python, Spring, React, or Go)
- Experience working with two or more from the following: web application development, Unix/Linux environments, cloud application development, distributed and parallel systems, machine learning, information retrieval, networking, media transcoding, and or developing large software systems.
- Experience participating in the software development lifecycle to develop microservice, event-based platforms.
- Current certification or demonstrable experience with one of the leading cloud platforms: AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Experience with Git, Continuities Integration, and Continuous Deployment of cloud-based applications.
- Empathy and strong communication skills
- Experience in training, mentoring, and/or up-skilling engineers
- Interest in a pair-programming environment
- Passion for growing your skills, tackling interesting work, and challenging problems
- Practical knowledge of a variety of agile methodologies
- BA/BS in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience building cloud-based enterprise software
- Experience with Docker and other virtualization technologies
- Experience with integration with third party market products used within the organization.
- Experience with modern JavaScript front end technologies: Angular, React, or Vue.js
- Experience with one or more relational and/or non-relation databases.
- Experience building and deploying in a continuous delivery environment.
- Experience with functional programming
- Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Experience navigating complex organizations
