Job ID#: 21-06765Job Title: QA Engineer (3 Positions Open)Type: Contract-to-HieLocation: Englewood, COPay Rate: $40-50/HR W2 Summary: As a member of an agile SCRUM team, the QA engineer participates in planning, estimating, scheduling, retrospectives, and any other team activities. The core responsibility is to the SCRUM team and to the success of each sprint which is defined as completing the tasks committed to for each sprint, ensuring that all of them are done - done as defined by the team, and that they are accepted by the product owner. Responsibilities:
- Provide complete visibility into all test related activities including test design, test implementation, and test progress
- Data collection and report generation
- Work with developers to understand product and features
- Bachelors Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical (STEM) fields or the equivalent of education and experience
- Familiarity with project management and defect management tools like Jira
- Knowledge of databases and ability to build SQL queries
- Basic understanding of programming concepts and languages such as Java
- Basic Linux knowledge
- Knowledge of software quality assurance (SQA) methodologies and types
- Masters Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical (STEM) fields
- Ability to write test cases
- Knowledge of Selenium
- Knowledge of testing automation
