Our Fortune 500 telecommunications client is seeking a talented Python Software Engineer for a long term contract opportunity. Qualified applicant will be motivated, flexible, and willing to learn new more about WiFi features.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance. Rate: $45 - $55 / hr. w2 Responsibilities of the Software Engineer: - Work with WiFi engineers to understand testing requirements
- Translate testing requirements or test case documents to software
- Help to develop new test case development platform
- Support new and existing test case execution including triage and bug resolution
- Write automated test scripts
Requirements of the Software Engineer: - At least 2 years of programming experience in Python or similar
- Familiarity with REST API functionality, design, and testing
- Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with server-side code and asynchronous programming
- Experience with version control, code repositories, and collaborating on projects
- Familiarity with any Linux OS, Ubuntu, or CentOS/RHL preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with members across teams
