Our environment is:• Complex• Highly elastic & web scale distributed systems• Based on state-of-the-art echnologies in streaming, cloud and modern architectures• Extremely fast pacedYou will be:• Enabling the client applications and backend services teams to build automated tests for theirproducts.• Research and recommend right fit tools for different types of testing for different systems.• Identify the optimal test framework and methodologies depending on business needs.• Develop E2E testing and test automation capabilities, in collaboration with the development teams.• Work with the teams as needed to help in upliftment of their test practices and automation work.• Work with operations / SRE teams to understand their requirements and incorporate them into thesystems tests.• Help establish DevSecOps practices across the organization.• Build and maintain centralized test database repositories, produce reports and dashboards asneeded for executives and stakeholders to know the quality of the systems and testing metrics.• Delivering software in an agile environment continuously.

Technologies in our environment:Some of the key technologies that make up our environment are below. While we do not expect you tohave a detailed understanding of each, the more of these you are familiar with the better.• Programming Languages: Go, Java, Python, node js, typescript, React Native, brightscript, etc• Test tools: Zephyr, Sandstrom, Selenium, Jmeter, Witbe, Inhouse test framework,• CI/CD & DevSecOps tools: Gitlab, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, ArgoCD, Fortify, Netsparker,white hat, OWASP, Vault, Salt Stack, Terraform, etc• Automated testing of applications, Continuous Integration (CI), TDD, and/or BDD• Core Data services: Confluent Stack, Kafka, Couchbase, Cassandra, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL,Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Redis, etc• Core platform services: Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher, Consul, AWS, Jaeger, gRPC, Istio,Calico, Google Cloud Platform, NGINX, etc• Serverless / Function as a service concepts, implementations & patterns• Web scale, distributed systems In order to be successful in this role, you will need to be• Highly motivated, self-driven & hard working• Not afraid to fail, but always looking to learn• A true believer in automation, codify everything, strong in distributed systems architecture, cloudnative, hybrid cloud and continuous deployment• Comfortable with scripting & using a Git repo for code management• Able to work independently and clearly present results• Strong leadership skills and able to influence without authority, sell your ideas through persuasion• Experienced working with CI/CD in the enterprise• A team player. Big egos and"super heroes" need not apply.• Experience architecting and testing applications on various platforms - running on customerdevices and running on cloud, running on containers, in house data centers, and differentintegration patterns.

• Experience working in media streaming environments - OTT apps across a range of platforms -browsers, phones, smart tvs, platforms such as Roku, FireStick and AppleTV.• Able to lead by example - we are looking for folks that can design and build. Hands on experienceis a key to success• Have strong knowledge of whitebox, greybox and blackbox testing

Basic Requirements:A successful Test Automation Architect will:• Be available to work onsite out of our Englewood, CO offices or American Fork, UT• Have a 4-year college degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, master's degree ispreferred or equivalent professional experience• Have 10+ years of professional enterprise development, testing, DevOps• Have experience defining and building tests for functional requirements - regression, integration,end-to-end system; and non-functional requirements - performance, load, stress, scale and security• Have strong experience in building automated tests for video streaming platforms - Android TV,Apple TV, Amazon TV, iOS, Android, Samsung, LG, Xbox and Roku.
