Job Description

Our client in Englewood, CO is looking for a Network Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This person will be brought in to assist with testing and documenting service activation methodologies. Right now they have multiple vendor enhancements and features that are being developed that need to be tested, documented, and pushed to their operations team. You will be working in a lab environment focused on service activation, Y.1564, traffic generation, RFC 6349, RFC 2544, iPerf, and L2/L3 bandwidth testing methodologies.

Position Title: Network Engineer

Location/Address: 14810 Grasslands Drive, Englewood, CO

COVID Protocol: 3 days on-site, 2 days WFH

Team Details:

- Managed Services Division - gives CPE (Customer Premise Equipment) to manage their local network

- Work in lab environment with 23 other engineers on this particular team

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in a similar role

- Service activation test experience (Y.1564) experience

- Bandwidth testing experience (RFC6349, RFC2544); Adva, RAD

Plusses:

- Y.1731 experience

Day to Day/Project:

- Assist with testing and documentating service activation methodologies

- Traffic generation

- Working with iPerf

- Heavy documentation

- L2/L3 bandwidth testing methodologies
