Lakeshore is looking for qualified candidates to fill an AP Coder position for an oil and gas company located in Platteville. This is a 6-month contract with the potential to be extended or go permanent. Pay for this position is $24/hour depending upon experience.
Job Summary
This position will provide administrative and clerical support for the DJ Basin region by coding AP invoices. The position is based in Platteville, Colorado and is a member of the Wattenberg Field Business Process team providing support to Midstream field operations and engineering.
Qualifications
-2+ years experience in various office functions including processing invoices
-AP invoice coding experience required
-Basic understanding of accounting concepts
-Experience in the use of computers and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
-Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build working relationships
-Ability to perform in a demanding, busy field environment
-Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
-Experience with SAP and the Oil & Gas industry a plus
Responsibilities
-Provide financial support through accurate and efficient invoice coding for assigned personnel.? Use of SAP financial software and the Anadarko general ledger account structure.
-Maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal personnel to ensure efficiency and accuracy on payments
-Provide assistance to internal and external customers concerning invoices, data management, and other audit inquires
-Maintain simple databases or use spreadsheets to conduct reviews of various data points.
-Complete special projects as assigned
-Follow all company procedures and established guidelines
Education
-High School Diploma or GED is required. Additional business education preferred.
Certifications/Licenses
-Valid drivers license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle is required
