RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce is seeking an experienced Electrical Hardware Design Engineer in Fort Collins, Colorado (CO). This position will require to go onsite for day one so they will need to be local to the Colorado area or willing to relocate before starting a position. Relocation fees will not be covered.

S 8-5-101 et seq.), Kforce discloses that the anticipated pay range for this position, which is subject to change based on job-related factors, including Kforce client requirements where applicable, is between $39-$41 an hour.Summary:The Electrical Hardware Design Engineer would be helping to support a high speed I/O focus for desktop workstations. If you are interested or passionate about high speed I/O then this is the job for you!Project: While working on this project you will be asked to perform the below duties and additional duties upon request: Work with program team to meet project design, performance, innovation, cost, and schedule objectives Design high speed electrical interconnects on a computer main board for example PCIe, USB Design and optimize PCB layout with innovative approach to accommodate future cutting-edge high-speed technologies Validate high speed signal integrity using top of the line test and measurement equipment Drive innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the electrical hardware design organizationREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering 3+ years of experience Passion for electrical design Highly analytical with a mind towards problem solving Experience designing, integrating, and debugging electronic components, integrated circuitry, and algorithms preferably in a computer architecture Understanding of empirical analysis, modeling, and testing methodologies to validate product designs and specifications Understanding of material properties and hardware and electrical component design Experience using signal integrity and protocol analysis equipment to troubleshoot and validate electrical circuits and interfaces Experience performing high-speed signal measurementsKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
