RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce is seeking an experienced Hardware Performance Engineer for a global technology client working on the cutting-edge technology in Fort Collins, Colorado (CO). This position does require someone to be onsite 5 days a week.

Kforce discloses that the anticipated pay range for this position, which is subject to change based on job-related factors, including Kforce client requirements where applicable, is between $30.00 and 35.00/hour.Summary:The ideal candidate is a driven individual in pursuit of excellence, who values communication, diverse viewpoints, and can be good leader in an influence-based team environment. The candidate should know PC hardware architectures inside and out and have enough software/firmware skills to analyze and debug system performance issues. This is an execution focused hands-on position that will also be responsible for measuring and reporting on system performance, then giving feedback to other teams on how to improve the customer's experience.While working on this project you will be asked to perform the below duties and additional duties upon request: Hardware Performance Engineer will establish yourself as an expert in supercomputer performance Understand complex workstation architecture (storage, networking, external devices, compute environments) Utilize benchmarks to measure, analyze and report back overall performance of our clients end product through the various stages of developmentREQUIREMENTS: 3+ years of experience working directly with PC HW architectures and system performance Knowledge of BIOS, OS, and drivers Ability to manually configure machines to client specifications Ability to communicate cross functionally with a team Investigative mindset, want to uncover what isn't working Ownership mentality, take on problems and figure it outKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
