Classical fine art academy is offering a paid apprenticeship to qualified, serious individuals. Only applicants dedicated to a career in the fine arts need apply. This fast-paced position involves assisting classical art instructors in an established art academy as well as teaching beginning adult students and youth. Availability on nights and Saturdays will be required. Individuals who have the ability to be flexible with time is a plus. Aside from working at the academy the applicant MUST be willing to learn and study the established curriculum independently, daily. The mediums studied are basic drawing in charcoal and graphite. Painting mediums are pastel, oil, and watercolor. A commitment of at least three years is required. Good time management (arrive on time!) and people skills are a must as well as being a "team player". Applicants will be asked to audition their drawing skills. Some of the tasks will involve some light lifting and cleaning. Only individuals who are willing to work hard and study the established curriculum independently need apply. The position begins as part-time but can easily turn into full-time.
