What we are looking for:
We are a small real estate photography company based in Fort Collins. We are looking for a photographer for full-time work. You must own a full-frame or mirrorless camera, tripod, and on-camera flash. Owning your own drone is a plus, but not required. Though the job sounds straight forward, we are looking for a very particular candidate. First and foremost, you must have an artist's eye. You will be asked to create amazing and inspiring images of what is often not a very inspiring subject. Beyond the artistry, you must be a people person. You will be interacting with the client, and often the homeowner, so people skills are vital. You will obviously need reliable transportation, be consistently on-time, and must be able to work efficiently under the pressure of time and an audience.
Position description:
You will be trained in how to properly frame and shoot Interiors and exteriors, as well as operate drones, 360 cameras, and produce walk-through videos with a gimbal. The training process tends to take about 30 days, but that is up to you and your drive and ability to learn on the job. If you don't already have it, you will be required to study for, and pass, the Part 107 Drone Pilot course before you are finished training. Your daily tasks will be to drive to different homes and complete the services that have been ordered by the client. You will be paid for all of your drive time as well as the job itself, and at times you may be asked to drive 50 or 60 miles for the job. The position pays $10 per hour for training, then $20 an hour once fully trained.
