We are currently hiring Direct Care Professionals who are interested in helping us uphold our mission to enhance the quality of life for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Weld County.

We are hiring for our Day Program, working day shift Mon-Thurs 7:30am-5:00pm.

And we are hiring for our Residential Program, with Afternoon and Evening shifts available including Fridays and weekend shifts

The Residential Direct Care Professional is a stimulating and rewarding position. You will have an opportunity to help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities grow in their independence, relationships and the community. Your primary responsibilities include ensuring the health/safety and welfare of people supported while advocating for choice, dignity and respect. Residential tasks include assisting people with menu planning, grocery shopping, meal preparation, personal care, money management, medical appointments, medication administration, housekeeping, transportation, community integration and building positive relationships.

Day Program tasks include taking a small group of people on community based activities, such as bowling, swimming, social clubs, Meals on Wheels, cooking class, etc. As well as transportation and assisting with personal care. We'd love to have you join our team!

PAY RATE: $11.10/hour

We provide comprehensive, paid training and we offer Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays and Benefits are offered to Full Time employees.

Provides services and support to people with developmental disabilities and their families within the framework of the Residential Services, Adult Services, and Family Support Services programs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be at least 18 years of age.

High School Diploma / GED required.

Ability to complete training in the areas of first Aid/CPR, medication administration, defensive driving, behavior management and crisis intervention.

Employment is contingent on the results of a required post offer drug screening test and criminal back ground check.

Must have a motor vehicle, provide proof of automobile insurance, have a valid Colorado Driver's license and acceptable driving record. An unacceptable driving record is a record with more than 3 occurrences of any combination of accidents (regardless of fault) or moving violations during the past three years and/or a record with 1 serious violation in last three years.
