Established in 2002, Tri-State Concrete and Excavation has been expanding from a small pumping company into a full-scale concrete and excavation contractor. Members of the Chamber of Commerce, we are also a proud A+ business of the BBB and have a 4.9-star rating on Google with over 80 reviews. Even with all our growth, we are still a small family run business with a team that feels more like an actual family and we are looking for the right person to join us. The owners, Erik and Kim are active in the day to day operations and the ideal candidate will help alleviate some of those tasks. Certain skills are mandatory, including being highly organized by nature, being proficient in technology, patience and great communication skills as they will be dealing with employees and customers alike.

This position is extremely limited through the winter only providing 12-15 flexible hours per week. You will have your own desk and computer. Perfect for students who need very specific hours and certain days of the week, or as a second job, as we can work around your current schedule. Being able to work mornings is a huge plus! The right candidate will have the choice of growing from an assistant role into a possible full-time, salaried position with benefits as an office manager or remaining part-time in the Spring.

This position has many roles and tasks, which could change over time. Current job description includes:

Assist with typical daily office tasks, including running errands

Answer calls, emails and mail (Must have fantastic customer service skills)

Enter leads into software and track activities

Social media posts, tasks and update schedules

Blogs and other website maintenance

Assist with HR duties

Payroll data and expense reporting entry

Assist with AP bill pay and AR collections (Assist only not responsible for)

Light clean up of small office

Tasks this position is not expected to do:

Sales, Bookkeeping, Scheduling or Project Management
