Administrative Accountability

Accurately maintain new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in Dear Inventory system and Horse Logic Professional database.

Document accurate and complete client contact information in Dear Inventory system.

Handle all order entry for Horse Logic Professional. This includes entry of orders placed via independent sales reps, website, phone call and faxed/emailed Wholesale orders. Ensure that all orders are processed, completed and filed according JEC Quality Manual.

Maintain a well-organized and complete filing system that includes all customer order data and associated documentation.

Work with Operations Department to ensure that orders are delivered to the warehouse in a timely fashion, and that those orders are filled, processed and shipped according to company procedures.

Communicate with Operations Department regarding existing and incoming orders, so that ordering/manufacturing/production schedules are timed in a way so as to fill customer orders as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Arrange order shipments with LTL carriers and FedEx according to order specifications. Track orders to ensure timely delivery to customers.

Deliver invoices to customers at the time of order shipment. Deliver statements to customers with outstanding balances at the end of each month (or as required by management) and ensure the quick collection of receivables.

Responsible for other duties, as assigned.

CSR/Inside Sales Accountabilities

Answer inbound calls from customers, with the intention to communicate specials and new products, and to cross-sell and up-sell.

Attend sales group meetings concerning sales targets or forecasts.

Handle cancellations or changes in sales orders and communicate the changes with account sales representative and all related departments.

Investigate and assist in the resolution of customer service issues, and document adverse events according to NASC policy, as written in the JEC Quality Manual.

Emphasize product features and benefits, discuss credit terms, quote prices, and prepare sales order reports or forms for customers.

Responsible for other duties, as assigned.

Job Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service and order processing.

Ability to maintain and develop relationships with customers, as well as ability to learn John Ewing Company product offering in order to support customer needs.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.) required. Experience with supply chain software preferred.

Excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and organization.

Self-motivated, with ability to work independently or with a team.

Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills.

Should be honest, assertive and systematic.

Bilingual (English-Spanish) preferred.
