Job Description

Fossil Creek Condominium Association is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for the community located in Fort Collins, Colorado who will perform general grounds and building maintenance.

Maintain common area pool and spa

Close and open pool as requested by the Board of Directors

Clean drainage ditches of weeds and debris twice a month

Inspect property in summer month for trip hazards

Inspect property in winter months for slip hazards

Exterior and interior painting along with maintenance of red curbed areas

Exterior pest control, as needed

Review requests and suggestions from bulletin board/drop box weekly

Keep accurate inventory record

Basic pot hole repairs

Inspect gutters and drains for abnormal flows

Inspect clubhouse broiler, air filter and plumbing, as needed

Clear all handicap parking spaces

Remove snow on sidewalks under 4 inches

Maintain ice-melt buckets and shovels for all buildings

Apply and remove ice melt, as needed

Maintain garbage enclosures and inspect weekly for large items

Management of maintenance spending, ordering supplies

Create and oversee monthly/weekly calendar for routine, vendor and requested projects

Job Requirements

Provide current resume with three professional references.

Successfully pass a background check and drug test.

Experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry is a plus.

Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs.

Ability to be on feet and moving for up to five continuous hours a day.

Be able to kneel, crouch, stoop and crawl as needed for extended periods of time.

Ability to communicate effective with Board of Directors.

Ability to record and complete timesheets.

Ability to collaborate with other maintenance employees on site.

Ability to communicate with vendors working on site and report to Board of Directors via GoogleDocs

Be on site contact for projects completed by third parties

Present concerns, project updates and requests at monthly BOD meetings and weekly emails via GoogleDocs

Must live off site and have reliable transportation
