Apex Systems currently has an opening for an Application Developer to work remotely with our USDA client supporting a modernization effort.
The Applications Developer:- Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements applications.
- Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software.
- Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
- Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.
- Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.
- Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools.
- Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
- Participates in development of user manuals.
- 3+ years related experience in ReactJs, Angular, Node JS, GraphQL, C#, and .NET.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (experience and certifications considered)
- Minimum five years' design/coding/implementation experience in software development using Agile principles
- Experience in Javascript / Typescript
- Experience with SQL Server, including database design, querying, stored procedures, views, joins, functions.
- Experience with REST API integrations
- Independently solve complex problems, assist the team with troubleshooting issues and bugs.
- Strong analytical skills: Ability to collect, organize, and analyze data; summarize findings and develop conclusions and recommendations.
- Ability to support the product's code in production
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize duties based on shifting demands
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Azure and Git
