Apex Systems is looking for a highly qualified, experienced, and self-motivated APEX Developers to assist with migrating forms from Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) to Oracle APEX technologies. The Developer will need to help the client and team members determine when to move business rules to the database and when to move them to Corticon. Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Work with the team analysts to Analyze and document existing Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) forms.
- Document business rules that are incorporated into the legacy forms.
- Work with Customer Business SMEs to incorporate business rules into Corticon Business Rules engine.
- Work with the Scrum Master and Product owners to prioritize, size and document the user stories for each sprint.
- Reverse Engineer Oracle ADF Forms to understand the data model, business logic and workflow for the applications to be migrated. Communicate these requirements to the business analysts and testers.
- Develop APEX forms that comply with the existing data model that supports the legacy ADF implementation.
- Suggest improvements and approaches to managing business rules that fit well known architectural partners but leverage the client's technology investment to the fullest extent
- Work with testers to expand the automated testing of the forms to the fullest extent possible. Our teams are fully committed, and everyone contributes to quality.
- Adhere to secure coding standards, define project coding standards and styles.
- Perform detailed code reviews on peers' code.
- Oracle Development Experience
- Prior experience building large scale systems
- Preferred experience converting ADF forms to Apex
