IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for Chemist at its facility in Greeley, CO.
The position is in wet chemistry performing numerous testing methods of the gravimetric/titrimetric nature (Moisture, Fat, Protein, etc.).
Applicants must possess a BS in Chemistry or related field.
Duties include but not limited to: sample receiving, preparing samples for analysis, analyzing samples via written SOPs, evaluating/interpreting data, troubleshooting problems, disposing of samples,cleaning/sanitizing lab and equipment, performing daily QC and other tasks as assigned. Full-time employee will be eligible for standard benefits after a brief waiting period. The laboratory operates weekends, so candidates must be willing to work some weekends.
This shift works M-F, 9AM - 5:30PM with an occasional need for a volunteer Saturday.
