We are looking for a hard-working and safety-conscious production technician to assist with operation of all unit operations in the plant, including extraction, packaging and others.

Description:

Candidate must be able to follow all safety procedures and use common sense when handling product and operating heavy equipment

Set up and Operation of Gas Chromatograph

GC testing of Raw Materials

Preparing and weighing of hemp flower

Operation of extraction equipment

Keeping careful batch records and logging manufacturing related data

Cleaning and maintenance of equipment and designing and implementing process improvements

Driving to make deliveries and pickups of product, equipment and supplies

Perform all technical procedures adhering to the operation, technical, and quality control policies and guidelines.

Process concentrates and extracts.

Regular cleaning and maintenance of lab equipment and facility.

Weigh,prepare samples for testing.

Inventory and record keeping of lab equipment. Maintain inventory records of supplies, materials, and temperatures of machinery.

Assist with laboratory and equipment cleanup. Wash and sterilize lab surfaces and glassware.

Disposal of waste to keep laboratory and all other working areas in pristine conditions.

General routine maintenance on lab equipment. Troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and regular data logging.

Maintain and log all data sheets for chemicals and products.

Requirements:

Familiar with hemp extraction methods.

A degree in a laboratory science (Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, etc.) is preferred but not required. Experience substitutes education.

General knowledge of production laboratory processes and procedures.

General understanding of basic laboratory terminology and concepts.

Must have at least a high school diploma

One year of production, manufacturing or laboratory experience

Must have a valid drivers license

Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Mechanical aptitude is strongly desired

Ability to work safely and efficiently while keeping good communication with co-workers is a must

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Meticulous attention to detail.

Able to communicate effectively both verbally and written, in a team environment.

Able to interpret and follow complex, written, verbal and technical instructions. Must be able to adhere to facility SOPs.

Sound technical ability and ability to learn complex procedures in a timely manner.
