The Salesforce Developer is a member of the Global Information Systems Team (GIST), who develops and maintains applications on ELICs Salesforce platform. This position develops and supports applications utilized by ELIC stakeholders and other platforms that integrate with Salesforce data. This position will play an integral role in the management of ELICs Salesforce data.
Duties & Responsibilities
To advance the purpose of ELIC, the Salesforce Developer will deliver developed software solutions on the Salesforce platform.
Build and maintain integrations with custom web apps into Salesforce
Implement new enhancements including creation of custom objects, workflows, email alerts, templates, and other Salesforce features to meet user specifications and use ETL tools to interface data to and from Salesforce
Understand the user roles, security, profiles, workflow rules, etc. within Salesforce
Be responsible for good stewardship and organization of time, money, systems, and materials
Plan and managing tasks, software development and projects for on-time, on-budget completion using GIST project management methods
Advance personal and GIST state of the art through study, training, conferences, research, and experimentation
Qualifications
BA/BS in a related field
Must be a Salesforce Certified Platform Developer
5+ years of experience with software development and technical implementations, especially with Agile
development methodology and application lifecycle management
Experience with Salesforce and NPSP data models
Practical experience with Cloud, SaaS, and Open Source Projects or emerging technologies
