The Town of Windsor is looking for an IT Security Analyst. As a member of the towns Information Technology (IT) Division, incumbents in this position will provide exceptional, service-focused, and reliable customer service and communication in handling service requests, incidents, changes, and releases. Incumbents work under the general supervision of the IT Manager and in collaboration with the IT Division Team Members.
The IT Security Analyst is a strategic position responsible for planning and carrying out security measures to safeguard the Towns IT resources.
Pay range: This is an exempt position $64,000.00 to $71,200.00 Depending on experience and qualifications.
Qualifications:
Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible work experience in the IT field of work, preferably in security.
Demonstrated experience with technical project execution involving cross-functional teams, exposure to project management processes required.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field from an accredited college preferred.
Experience managing systems using current Microsoft Windows operating systems and/or TCP/IP network environments.
Equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES
Must have a current Colorado Drivers License or the ability to obtain one upon hire, and a satisfactory driving record.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or other security, network, computer, and/or software related certifications preferred
