Technical Support Engineer
Alpine Technology Group is a mature and growing IT services organization, recognized as a leader in public-sector healthcare systems. We seek an IT professional experienced in software technical support. This is an ideal position for a seasoned IT professional who relishes a technical challenge and a diversity of duties.
This position will provide technical support, troubleshooting, and researching of issues reported to the call-center. Includes working with customers to determine and solve reported problems in the software, business process, database, or system environment. Experience with Windows- and Web-based applications, relational databases and SQL, and networks are key elements of this position. Applicants must possess an associate degree in an IT-related field while a bachelor degree is highly desired.
You will be joining a professional staff focused on providing high quality and value using current and new technologies to meet our customer needs. Excellent communication a must for both client and team interaction. Must be a team player, learn quickly, keep to a regular schedule, and can develop a great rapport with customers. Our call center operates from 6AM to 6PM Mountain Time, 5 days a week, so your shift will fall within these times.

Requirements:
In the role of Technical Support Engineer, you will be supporting a suite of complex, healthcare-related applications in a dynamic and sometimes fast-paced environment. While Help Desk experience is required, we will train you on our software.
Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field; or sufficient equivalent experience and/or background.
3+ years work experience as a Technical Support Engineer
1+ year experience with relational databases
Strong verbal and written communications skills
SQL experience
Ability to learn and adapt quickly
Experience with Remedy or other call center software preferred
Experience with Oracle and Toad a plus
Demonstrated leadership in solving complex technical issues and directed others in same.
