Demand Planning Manager – Integrated Business Management We are looking for a Demand Planning Manager for Pilgrim’s that generates item level forecasts for each customer on a weekly basis. Responsibilities: Create and maintain monthly multiple year forecast for strategic discussions
Maintain weekly forecast accuracy reporting in conjunction with Brand Marketing, Innovation, Sales, and Category Marketing that includes statistical seasonal demand combined with trade and brand promotional activity increases & decreases
Drive consensus between cross-function groups and leaders through meetings with customers and internal stakeholders
Continuously improve forecast accuracy through creative techniques. Examples would include analyzing history, correlating past history to weather, correlating history to market data and tying those correlations to market forecasts, etc.
Present supply and demand recommendations to leadership, drive timely decisions, and ensure clear and concise communication to all stakeholders in the supply chain, based on demand planning scenarios, business forecasts, and product transitions
Ensure new items are included in forecasts
Develop and administer monthly S&OP process for discussions with Sales, Brand Marketing, Category Marketing, Inventory Control, Innovation and Raw Material Procurement to ensure focus, alignment, and integration across all organizational functions
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Economics, Math, Computer Science, Finance, or other quantitative field
Prefer 5 years of experience in forecasting, S&OP management, or supply chain planning. Must have a minimum of 5 years in either forecasting or data analysis.
Must have excellent Excel skills
Prefer experience with Python, R, or other large data regression analysis software
Experience with forecasting in SAP is a plus
Experience in the meat industry is a plus but not required
Analytically minded and good with numbers
Ability to problem solve
Self-starter who can think ahead on problems and proactively address them
High attention to detail and accuracy
As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting, the amount of travel may vary and the most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate.
The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
Base salary range of $77,385 - $100,590;
Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
