IT ACCOUNTING MANAGERWe are looking for a IT Accounting Manager for JBS that reports onsite to the corporate office in Greeley, Colorado.The IT Accounting Manager will be part of the JBS USA IT team at the Corporate Office in Greeley, CO that supports multiple business units in North America, Mexico, and Australia. The focus of this role is supporting our IT teams with sound accounting principles to budget, plan for capital projects, lead close processes and analyze financial results. The position is responsible for driving processes to ensure timeliness in end to end accounting processes for the IT team and work with business units on IT related expenses.Responsibilities:Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly financial reports with timely distribution to leadership team
Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly and year end reporting package
Hold monthly meetings to discuss monthly reporting package
Manage month end closing process
Manage capital spending processes to ensure timely closing of assets and spending within budgets. Collaborate with plant locations on compliance with capital policies
Develop, prepare and analyze capital expenditure reporting. Timely distribution of capital spending reports
Manage corporate A/P processes to ensure timely payments to vendors
Assist with the setup of new IT vendors
Manage both IT AP Specialist and assist with any issues that may arise
Prepare and maintain Capital and Operational budget for IT department
Develop and improve processes surrounding existing systems
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:Minimum 3 years accounting experience or similar area
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business required
Thorough knowledge of Accounting principles and procedures
Thorough knowledge of management accounting including variance analysis and root cause analysis
SAP experience preferred
Excellent communication, computer, organizational and multi-tasking skills
Ability to problem solve
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to thrive in a fast paced setting
Ability to work with all levels of the organization
Supervisory or managerial experience preferred
As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting, the amount of travel may vary and the most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate.
The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits :Benefits : Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
Paid Time Off : sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
Base salary range of $70,000-$90,000; and
Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
