Exciting work you will do:
  • Lead Data Governance activities within the Data Management Organization
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of enterprise data, optimize data processes and report data quality and audit results to business leadership teams as appropriate.
  • Partner with the Global Business Process Owners to achieve business objectives and goals
  • Identify and articulate business ideas, suggestions and propose problem resolutions within functional areas of responsibility
  • Act as Data Governance SME for at least one master data domain to ensure consistency, uniformity, approval, and accuracy of data globally, across all systems
  • Assess and resolve all data quality issues for assigned data domain(s); collaborate with stakeholders to recommend and implement appropriate business solutions
  • Implement proactive controls for data standards in SAP MDG, and monitor data quality
  • Ensure the data decisions are consistently and clearly communicated throughout all impacted stakeholders
  • Run designated reports weekly/bi-weekly/monthly that will support analytics, data quality dashboards, metrics, etc
  • Take ownership of all domain policies, procedures, processes, and forms documentation. Maintain, communicate and train as necessary to ensure understanding and compliance
  • Perform root cause analysis of master data change requests to determine potential issues. Work with the business function and GBPOs as appropriate to resolve any issues and improve process efficiencies
  • Develop and implement data quality measurement criteria
  • Influence and guide business on decisions surrounding data

  • Manage business process improvements that will promote greater data integrity and control
  • Lead all Data Management and Data Governance data clean-up and validation efforts within the domain and proactively reach out to all business partners and stakeholders to ensure the integrity and fit-for-purpose of master data, globally
  • Communicate with manager on project ideas, progress, and decisions; escalate to manager when support is needed
  • Develop SOPs, training and job aides to support policies and procedures related to Data Governance
  • Ensure adherence to all SOX and Data Governance policies and procedures, and execute audit checks and annual validations
  • Make recommendations for process improvements based on audit results to insure data integrity and adherence to all SOX and Data Governance policies & procedures

What you will need:
  • B.S. degree in related field or equivalent work experience required
  • Solid understanding of end to end business processes
  • 3 years of experience in publicaly traded multi-divisional global business
  • 3+ years of Master Data experience preferred; Accounting/Finance experience required
  • SAP-FI implementation experience a plus.
  • SAP experience required.
  • SAP MDG experience is strongly preferred
  • MS-Office Suites required; Proficient in Excel

Working Conditions
  • The position is located in the Denver corporate office.
  • Flexible hours to accommodate global meeting times.
  • Willingness to put in extra hours as projects and priorities dictate.
  • Some travel to domestic and international sites may be required
