RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Greenwood Village, CO that is seeking a LTE/5G Systems Engineer. In this role, the LTE/5G Systems Engineer will spend part of their time in the field contributing to field activities like setting up and testing LTE/5G radios and EPC. Work base is in Denver (mandatory) with travel up to 25% of the time.
Responsibilities: LTE/5G Systems Engineer will work within teams to install, troubleshoot, and configure LTE/5G radios and core Create regression test plans for LTE/5G networks Execute test cases and report results In this role, the LTE/5G Systems Engineer will debug equipment issues and collect logs Monitor equipment remotely and generate reports Write scripts to automate testing and collecting data Communicate and report updates to project stake holders As a LTE/5G Systems Engineer, you will help mount, install and integrate equipment in the lab and fieldREQUIREMENTS: Preferably CPI certified 5-7+ years of relevant experience 5+ years of hands on vendor experience configuring, programing, testing, and troubleshooting LTE radios Deep expertise in LTE networks with experience configuring, troubleshooting, optimizing, LTE protocol stack Knowledge of Private-cellular networks and its various use cases Working experience in the field of virtualized/open/cloud RAN Knowledge of public cloud telecom offering like Outpost, Anthos, Azure stack Cloud experience preferably AWS CBRS ecosystem knowledge Multi-domain technical knowledge of wireless technologies LTE, 5G, and WiFi IP knowledge (i.e., ability to configure/understand VLAN's, subnets, and plan IP's) Experience working with LTE/5G core and OSS Hands-on with a get things done attitude that can quickly learn and contribute to fast paced projectsPreferred Qualifications: Open source LTE/5G stack knowledge 5G NR radio and core knowledge Working experience with O/V-RAN vendors or vendor solutions Good experience with Unix/Linux administration and troubleshooting Good experience with device test tools like Accuver XCAL/XCAP, Qualcomm QXDM/QCAT, Keysight Nemo etc.Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
