Position: Network and Security Consultant to join our client-facing professional services team with a focus on client engagement, strategy and architecture development and evaluation of existing client solutions and processes against recommended strategies. This position works to protect critical domestic industries including energy (electric, oil, and gas), pharmaceutical, food production and critical municipal infrastructure. The consultant works with enterprise and operational technologies.

Job Description: As part of our Solutions team, the consultant leads a variety engagements across customers in a variety of industries. You will work with IT and business executives, management and subject matter experts. The consultant leads client discussions to gather requirements, evaluate existing solutions and processes and develop strategies and architecture to address requirements. Strategies and architectures will comply with applicable regulations and industry best practices which vary by industry. Periodically the consultant will assist with completing designs aligned with prescribed architecture and implementing recommended solutions. The consultant coordinates with project managers to prioritize work and accomplish tasks within established project budgets and timelines. Other responsibilities include periodically assisting with technology design and engineering implementation services.

Responsibilities: The purpose for this role is to provide consultative services to clients regarding their network and security strategies, architecture and governance practices. Key tasks include:

Interviewing business and technology stakeholders to determine goals and requirements
Gather business objectives and translate into technical requirements
Developing strategic initiatives and architectures aligned with the strategy
Assess and audit client network and security infrastructure against published strategies
Architect, design, and implement secure networks
Manage relationships within the project team, clients and relevant stakeholders
Recommend software, training, tools and other options to improve the individual and team skill set

Consultant Technical Skills & Competency Requirements:

Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience architecting, designing, and implementing enterprise scale network and security solutions
  - 3 years consulting, strategy and roadmap development
- Experience with complex routing designs, including designing and operating redistribution between different routing protocols.
- Prior experience working in federally regulated environments
- Consultant/Architecture Level Certifications preferred
Technical Skills:
- WAN routing solutions: SD WAN and MPLS
- LAN/WAN platforms: Cisco Nexus, ACI and Catalyst solutions, Aruba, Fortinet
- Wireless: Wireless and cellular solutions
- TACACS, Radius and LDAP authentication systems
- Security: Cisco, Fortinet and Palo Alto security solutions
