RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Greenwood Village, CO that is seeking a Network Architect.

Summary:The Network Architect will own the product strategy and roadmap for convergence of Wi-Fi (access points, network controllers, gateways), 5G NR and 5GC (gNBs, signaling, control plane, policy, and slicing functions), and cloud to deliver the richest service portfolio in the industry. The Network Architect is responsible for platform roadmaps and requirements- features that differentiate us, customizations for verticals, new architectures to support 3rd party applications, standard certifications and compliance, RF innovations, etc. As an internal specialist and resident SME, you will actively work with Engineering, Product, and Business development on product differentiations, competitive insights, and partner engagements. This role will serve as an internal evangelist for the company on converged and differentiated products, and supports the development and communication of product strategies dependent on new services/features to drive financial results. The Network Architect also works with different lines of business on implementing new product strategy.

REQUIREMENTS: A minimum 7-10 years of network architecture/product development/management experience within mobile wireless telecommunications/cable Knowledge of WLAN Hardware product development and with major WLAN chipset vendors Experience of system and product development (HW + SW + Cloud) Knowledge of wireless network systems and functions, such as: RAN (gNB/CBSD), fiber backhaul, DOCSIS backhaul, core (5G- AMF, AUSF, SMF, UPF, PCF, NSSF, NEF, UDM, NRF, UDR, AF), EMS/OSS, BSS, 5G devices, and other ancillary systems Knowledge of wireline network systems and functions, such as: Core backbone, routing, switching, fiber, Data Over Cable Service Interface Specifications (DOCSIS), Cable Modem Termination Service (CMTS), optical nodes, and network topologies Intimate knowledge of 3GPP, IEEE, and ETSI standards Able to make critical decisions on limited data by multi-functional team members Previous experience with effectively engaging with chipset vendors, infrastructure providers, third-party partners, and application developers to understand technology advancements, capabilities, and cost trends
