JOB SUMMARY This role plans and directs the investigative function and physical security functions, under the guidance of the Director of Corporate Security. This position assumes the Director of Corporate Security responsibilities in their absence. Accountable for planning, developing and implementing the physical security and investigative programs and strategies. Directs the activities of the physical security team to ensure compliance with company policies, legal and regulatory requirements. Represents the Corporate Security on various market and/or area committees and working groups. Develops relationships with law enforcement and first responders. Conducts briefings with departmental management, corporate management and law enforcement as necessary.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee day to day operations of investigative and physical security operations

Coordinate the nationwide contract security portfolio for Charter Communications Corporate Physical Security

Oversee security operations integrated with large public event management, as needed Provide support to senior executives by facilitating access and security for high level visitors and events, as needed Assistance with CPS related miscellaneous project work, as needed Track activity, incidents and physical security needs

Develop strategic relationships and act as liaison between Charter Communications, law enforcement, first responders and project integrators relations to security operations

Manage the security assessment process and ensure compliance with security standards, policies and procedures

Manage the security team by assigning responsibility, managing accountability, overseeing training and professional development

Develop standards and procedures for physical security projects that implement systems for the protection of company personnel, assets and information

Ensure that the security programs and strategies of the organization are effectively implemented and maintained

In coordination with the Director, coordinate the finances of all capital security project activities with department program and hold budgetary responsibility for outsourced services

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Skills/Abilities and Knowledge Ability to read, write, speak and understand English Knowledge of Federal, state or local regulations relevant to the company (i.e., PCI, CPNI, SOX, HIPAA, and data privacy affecting theft of cable service preferred)Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communications skills, as well as the ability to deal with all levels of people, both inside and outside the companyComprehensive understanding of the criminal justice, court system and private security regulationsBasic knowledge of data analytics and social media tools for threat mitigation and internal communicationsKnowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPointUnderstanding of the complexities of software and networking; how the systems work togetherAbility to efficiently manage multiple tasks simultaneously to completionAbility to use arithmetic skills accurately to complete daily paperworkAccuracy and attention to detailComprehensive understanding of physical security threats and investigationsStrong verbal presentation and written communication skillsExperience managing business resumption/recovery programs

Education Bachelor's degree in area relevant to the security field preferred or equivalent work experience Certification in related security fields (CPP, PCI, PSP, CFE, CFI) preferred

Related Work Experience 10+ years combined experience in conducting investigations in the military, local law enforcement or corporate security environments 3+ years management experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Skills/Abilities and Knowledge Working knowledge of Charter Communication's incident management and project tracking systems

WORKING CONDITIONS Office environment On call rotation Significant travel
