Job Title: Data Engineer

Location: Greenwood Village, CO (

Hybrid 3 days onsite/2 days remote work schedule. Also candidates must be able and willing to work onsite from Day 1)

Interview Process: 2 step IV; 30 min phone screen and then 90 min team interview. Candidates write SQL queries that they do the time of IV and will share their screen

Job Duration: long term temp to hire

Technical skills:

5 + years of hands-on SQL experience
Strong communication skills

Nice to Have Skills:

AWS S3, Athena, Lambda, EMR, Step functions
PySpark
Python

Education/Certification Requirements: a plus; ideally want someone with a degree

Day-to-day responsibilities: Our client is looking for a Data Engineer with experience in ETL development using SQL. The candidate would be required to develop new data ingests (ETLs), maintain/enhance existing (ETL), and perform QA and documentation. The candidate should have strong analytical skills, should be able to find out data quality issues, and join multiple datasets to extract useful information. The candidate should have good communication skills. The role will include a majority of the time in AWS
