Candidate will: Support the planning, design, development, and rollout of Agile across s Technology Operations & Infrastructure organization Develop an Agile adoption strategy that includes the stages of adoption from introduction of Agile and employee education, to fostering a culture that practices sustainable Agile methodologies, through to continually seeking out and offering strategies for improvement Contribute to the establishment and rollout of governing policies, procedures, processes, tools, training, etc., in support of the rollout Coach, train, and mentor teams and individuals accelerating the transition to an Agile way of thinking and working Keep up to date with, recommend and apply Agile best practices Support the end-to-end planning and execution of one or more Agile teams and initiatives When needed function in a Scrum Master role facilitating sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-up meetings, tool reviews/demos, conducting retrospectives, and other scrum ceremonies Coach teams and individuals in all aspects of Agile including but not limited to:- Understanding Scrum and Agile Principles- How to run successful and highly efficient Sprints- Best estimation techniques- Deploying and using enterprise Agile tools- Agile best practices Set goals and develop metrics and reporting using Agile tools (Jira, Rally or the like) that will help teams understand Sprint health and progress Work with product owner(s) to promote and contribute to the improvement of the ongoing product backlogs
Required Qualifications: 7-12 years of Agile work experience in a technical (CS, CE, CIT) domain and a Bachelors Degree or 6 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. MS, ME) in a Computer Science, Systems Engineering or similar STEM field of study. 5-6 years of Agile experience applied in one or more of the following areas:- Software Engineering/Development- CIT Hardware/Infrastructure Management- CIT Technical Program/Project Management Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Proficiency in Waterfall, Agile and SAFe methodologies Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project) as well as project management, reporting, and Agile or other tools such as: Tableau, Rally, JIRA, MS Project, Clarity PPM, SharePoint, and Wiki Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with cross-functional interactions Ability to multitask and work confidently and independently with limited supervision Excellent time management, communication (written & verbal), collaboration and organization skillsPreferred Qualifications: PMP or similar Project Management CertificationVacancy expired!
