Education/ExperienceBachelors degree in Computerscience related field5 years of work experience and minimum of 1 year experience working on Devops toolsMajor Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide support to Developers and Release engineers on all issues relevant to Developer tools and Devops processesGuide and ensure Developers/users are able to perform their job by providing suitable solutions to users on Devops practicesChannel support issues to SMEs in the team and follow up on resolution and sharing the same with the usersHave a sense of maitaining SLAs and be compliant with the rules established in the teamReview, monitor and audit applications for any potential issues and engage team SMEs in addressing issues caused in productionObtain and examine all relevant information to assess validity of complaints and to determine possible causesReport on help desk activities to team managementSkillsVerbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service skills and interpersonal skills (Required)Strong ability to work independently and manage ones time (Required)Strong ability to accurately document and record customer/client information (Required)Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback (required)Experience in handling and administering tools such as Bitbucket/ Github, Azure Devops, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonarqube, Jira and ConfluenceExperience working in a linux environment and familiar with linux commandsGood understanding of distributed applications, load balancers, network storage and databases is a plusAbility to support SMEs in performing system upgrades, following install plans and executing test cases post installation to validate system upgrades etcAbility to troubleshoot issues reported by users and identify effectively root cause of issues
