Job Description

The DPS Risk Services vision is to partner with our clients to provide future-ready risk products and services that enable them to achieve superior performance. This position will be responsible for the product management the DPS Visa Resolve Online (VROL) platform, the primary tools used by clients for managing disputes. This person will be leading end-to-end product management activities for DPS VROL, including setting product strategy and roadmap, writing business requirements for new system enhancements and features, and being a subject matter expert on the VROL functionality. This role will also require collaboration and effective communication across multiple cross-functional teams within Visa. This position reports to the Vice President of DPS Risk & Dispute Products.

DPS Risk Services is looking for person who is a self-starter, results oriented and is focused on delivering innovative solutions to the market.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development and management the product roadmap and backlog to define and support the product goals for the DPS VROL platform
  • Clearly understand and articulate the value of Visa’s products and drive the development of product, features, and functionality for the DPS VROL platform
  • Translate market and customer insights to drive product strategy and decisions
  • Own the development of the product strategy, go-to-market plans, and all elements related to product documents (concept document, business case, product backlog)
  • Initiate and drive collaboration with designers to create preliminary design concepts and work with engineering to implement and iterate
  • Meetproject deadlines and budgets while providing solutions that meet the business requirements of both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal Visa teams (e.g., Global VROL Product, Dispute Operations & Support, Client Services, etc.) to define and execute a cohesive strategy related to a specific product or feature
  • Workwith the VROL Global Product teams to develop aligned and prioritize product plans, strategies and tactics in all areas of product ownership
  • Develop and deliver presentations and documentation to both external and internal audiences in webinars and other venues regarding areas of product ownership
  • Provide subject matter expertise and support for internal and external stakeholders on the DPS VROL platform and Real-Time System Interface (RTSI)
  • Communicate with internal support and sales teams to educate, gather customer feedback and resolve VROL product issues

In Colorado, the position starts at $109.8kBase pay and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, this position is eligible for annual bonus and equity.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 5 or more years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in product management at a technology company or comparable experience
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience in conjunction with a less technical BA/BS
  • MBA or advanced technical degree
  • Ability to build cross-functional consensus among internal and external stakeholders to drive business results
  • Proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships
  • Must be proficient in all MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access) with advanced Excel spreadsheet skills.
  • Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies to drive product development and delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve strategic goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to translate user requirements across diverse functional areas into a compelling product vision
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and influencing skills
  • Ability to take initiative and build strong and productive relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Visa experience or knowledge of the bankcard industry (including payment processing, back office operations and risk) a plus

Location

  • This position is based in Highlands Ranch, CO - relocation assistance will not be offered at this time.

Travel Requirements

  • This position requires the incumbent to travel for work less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements

  • This position will be performed in an office setting.The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, reach with hands and arms
