Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Remote AWS Architect w/AI and ML for a Contract to Hire assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in Jacksonville, FL/REMOTE. Responsibilities :
- Recommend programming, development standards, procedures, and programming architectures for code reuse.
- Solid knowledge of state-of-the-art programming languages and object-oriented approaches in designing, coding, testing, and debugging programs.
- Understand and consistently apply the attributes and processes of current Agile application development methodologies.
- Research and maintain knowledge in emerging technologies and possible application to the business.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. Any AWS Certifications highly desired
- Experience designing and developing in AWS environment.
- Experience in a large enterprise environment or designing and developing on enterprise applications and platforms - Experience in AWS serverless and AI/ML technologies.
- Understanding of IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) or FaaS (Function as a Service) a plus
- Familiar with both Linux (RedHat) and Windows platforms a plus
- Understanding of DevOps automation through end-to-end Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) desired.
- Familiar with Test Driven Development (TDD) a plus.
- Skilled in software development using Java/Python/NodeJS technology stacks and related tooling desired.
- Familiarity working in a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) leveraging Agile (Scrum) methodology.
- Experience in developing and managing RESTful API applications with demonstrable production-scale experience a plus.
- Proficiency in cloud solutions design and requirements definition disciplines leveraging model-driven design-based tools and techniques including conceptual solution component models, business process models, use cases, etc.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors)
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team, and time management skills
- Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take
- Ability to estimate work effort for project sub-plans or small projects and ensure the project is successfully completed
- Positive outlook, strong work ethic, and responsive to internal and external customers and contacts
- Thorough understanding of design patterns and their application
- In-depth knowledge of networking, computing platform, storage, database, security, middleware, network and systems management, and related infrastructure technologies and practices
