What you are good at Job Description : Proactively detect, troubleshoot, and resolve all issues (Databases, Reporting, Infrastructure) affecting Production applications. This involves coordination with and escalation to development and external teams where necessary. This team owns all issues escalated to SAMS Technology until it is resolved, or a workaround is provided to end users. Work with development teams at the appropriate stages in application development to ensure any new systems or projects meet the Production Readiness standards. Responsible for servicing all business user requests for data or other activities that require access to Production systems in addition to supporting various ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows in daily batch processes scheduled in Control M. Responsible for ensuring the Change Implementation Management policies are adhered to for all changes deployed to Production. Provide clear, concise, and timely communication to affected parties during the investigation and resolution of any individual or system-wide outage. Be the escalation point contact for overnight batch failures or any outages that may impact start of day for business. What you have Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, IT or related field followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
