Wealth and Asset Management (WAM) engineering is a fast-growing organization within Schwab Technology Services and aligned to support the technology needs of Schwab Asset Management (SAM), Wealth & Advice Solutions (WAS), the Schwab Center for Financial Research (SCFR), and Third-Party Platform teams. This Business Systems Analyst position within WAM Engineering reports to the Director of the Platform Strategy & Analysis team. What you are good atThe Business Systems Analyst will play a meaningful role working with several scrum teams to build new services and capabilities to centralize data related to Schwab's Wealth Advisory business. You will be working with a team of dedicated technologists and SMEs who bring a lot of energy, focus and fresh ideas that support our mission to contribute by seeing the world "Through Clients' Eyes." What you have- 3+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably in a financial services setting.
- Working knowledge of web services, data architecture, SQL, Postman, data structures and willingness to be 'hands on' with technical Agile teams
- Ability to partner with Agile team members to generate requirement stories, UAT test scripts, release notes, and other project artifacts.
- Basic understanding of financial markets and services (Equity, Fixed Income, Wealth Management, Portfolio Management)
- A university degree from an academic institution; coursework in information systems, computer science, and / or business administration are a plus
