The Director will play a key role in Digital Product Management for Client Authentication and online security products for all of Schwab's digital platforms and mobile apps. The Director will lead the strategy and design for our client authentication experiences to effectively secure client assets against fraud. This role will be responsible for developing the strategy and vision for the next 3-5 year for the client authentication products. The Director will also work with a wide range of stakeholders to understand use cases around account access, move money, client information update and design effective authentication controls to safeguard these transactions from fraudsters. The director will also work with fraud risk management teams to develop methods and tools to analyze fraud data and measure authentication control effectiveness. This role will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on client experiences. - Networking in the online/cyber security space and financial industry to bring industry knowledge, insights into practice
- Develop and evolve the product strategy based on a deep understanding of security and fraud landscape, client needs, financial asset transaction use cases, stakeholder needs, risk management requirements, etc.
- Create compelling, clear presentations for senior leadership and key partners that can be used to influence the strategic direction
- Take initiative in pursing ideas to deliver outcomes in an agile environment
- Partner with stakeholders to prioritize opportunities and develop the roadmaps for our products
- Develop trusted business partnerships and work closely with key teams, including technology, Investor & Advisor Services businesses, Fraud Risk Management, and Compliance to drive initiatives forward
- Strong background in cyber security and authentication products
- Able to create a high-level vision and strategy; Strong analytical skills: ability to synthesize complex data, identify opportunities, evaluate competing priorities, and develop a strategic plan that delivers on our product vision and goals
- Able to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally. Experience managing multiple priorities and overseeing distinct teams with varied strengths. Proven ability to navigate complex and nuanced interpersonal issues, understand and balance priorities of different stakeholders, and build trust among business partners. Strong emotional intelligence/maturity and executive presence. Thrives on initiating, building, and cultivating strong authentic relationships inside and outside the group.
- Able to take ambiguous ideas, translate them into an execution plan, and drive outcomes. Able to take a broad view of initiatives underway across the enterprise and identify opportunities to integrate for better outcomes.
- Ability to understand needs for clients and internal stakeholders and identify opportunities to address those.

- Bachelor's degree required. Post graduate degree is a plus.
- Experience in leading digital security in financial services or retail industry is a plus
- 4+ years' experience in people management; consistent record of building and inspiring hard-working teams.
