What you are good at

The primary responsibility of the Technical Lead within Compliance and Legal Services Technology is to provide solutioning, guidance, mentoring to the delivery team. This role will include both Project and Maintenance work. This individual will engage primarily with technical delivery teams, including application developers, technical analysts, architects, QA, Project Managers, program management, and business partners. This position will report to the Senior Manager of Compliance and Legal Services Technology. This individual must have strong organizational and people leadership capabilities. An ability to understand, align, and communicate Risk Management Technologies services and capabilities to business leadership is an essential component of the role. Candidates should have a passion for understanding emerging technologies and managing the deployment of same where appropriate.

What you have

Technical:
  • 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with Informatica.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle database technology.
  • 3+ years OFSAA experience.
  • 5+ years of experience of designing scalable technical solutions within medium to large/complex projects with multiple dependencies using Agile processes in planning, implementation, and support of business application components, including change & release management.
  • Demonstrated track record of making technical decisions at the application level (vendor/technology, solution design, assessing tradeoffs)
  • Experience with Agile development methodology and CI/CD Automation.
  • Strong technology affinity and experience, as well as attention to detail, couple with the ability to design, execute aligned to strategic goals.
  • Strong knowledge of software development, testing, maintenance, and support.
  • Good knowledge of the Atlassian suite of products - Confluence & Jira.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as a contributing member in a high-paced and focused team.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively inspire and influence teams and partners in delivering technology-enabled business solutions that meet business needs.
  • Identifies and resolves unique situations of substantial significance, requiring conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions to complex problems with broad impact on the business.
  • Ability to lead and execute in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and promote collaboration.
  • Ability to coach, mentor and provide direct, timely feedback.
