This means conducting business with integrity, accountability, and professionalism while supporting our global community.Micron is looking for a hands-on technical Manager to join our growing Enterprise SSD Validation Engineering team. The Validation Engineering team works as an integral part of our enterprise SSD development and validation process, ensuring our products are on time to market and best-in-class quality in the field. You will partner cross-functionally and cross-site with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and other engineering groups to collaborate in developing strategies to execute validation deliverables.Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Stand up and run customer test plans

Acts as the subject matter expert for validation on customer test requirements and results

Analysis of upcoming validation needs and research on data creation means to achieve

Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope and delivery dates

Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes

Utilize technical, project, and delegation experience to actively lead product test cycles

Constantly evaluate, refine and implement validation processes/methodologies

Lead and provide guidance to the validation team. Proactive in developing the technical skill set of the team members through training, coaching, with the goal of professional growth, improved job performance and career satisfaction at Micron

Participate in continuous improvement efforts through the evaluation of validation trends, performance indicators, audit and stakeholder/senior management feedback, and corrective/preventative actions.

Enable shift-left efforts to move detection of failures from customer tests to internal-developed and maintained test frameworks

Provide input to the on-going development of in-house automation frameworks/tools

Minimum Qualifications:

BS in an engineering discipline or equivalent

10+ years of validation experience, with demonstrated ability to design and implement world-class product test strategies

Demonstrated leadership experience

Demonstrated ability to build and grow a team

Proven ability to inspire and lead change

Strong communication, facilitation, negotiation and teamwork skills

Flexibility and the ability to adapt to a dynamic, rapidly changing environment with shifting demands

Experience with Agile product development processes and project management

Experience with quality and process improvement methodologies and tools (Lean, Six Sigma, value stream mapping, FMEAs, DMAIC)
