Facility: BOULDER HEADQUARTERS - EMCompensation Base: $16.50 hr. - $18.00 hr.Compensation Bonus (if applicable): $500 SIGN-ON BONUSEqual Opportunity Employer.$500 SIGN-ON BONUS (Paid out after first 90 days of employment)BI is one of the leading technology companies in Colorado and the largestprovider of innovative electronic monitoring solutions in the United States.We excel at proving technological solutions to over 1,000 agenciesnationwide and allowing those agencies to fulfill their missions withoutworrying about the technical complexities.SummaryResponsible for the efficient mechanical and electrical assembly, repairand/or rework of Company products and related sub-assemblies.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssembles standard products within established times and quality levels, including mechanical assembly,electrical assembly, gluing and packaging.Repairs and/or reworks products and/or related sub-assemblies perdocumentation.Accurately completes all paperwork relating to jobs performed, including,but not limited to, work order forms, Material Reject Reports,Inspection Reports, and stockroom requisition forms. Performs system dataentryInspects products and sub-assemblies for workmanship and compliance todocumentation.Assembles and tests various products in multiple areas on the productionfloor.Cleans work area(s) on a daily basis.Enters job transactions accurately and in a timely manner in order to maintainaccurate inventory counts.Performs other duties as assigned.Minimum RequirementsHigh School diploma or GED.Two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing environment or one (1) year of internal experience with the ability to assembleand test several assembly processes within two departments.Good manual dexterity.Ability to read and understand simple assembly procedures and drawings.Ability to recognize acceptable and defective assemblies from procedures anddrawings.Basic computer skills.Good soldering skills preferred.Attention to detail with the ability to enter job transactions accurately andin a timely manner.Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used bythe department.Working Conditions: Encountered on a regular basis as part of the work thisjob performs.Work is performed on a Manufacturingfloor with some exposure to toxic fumes and chemicals and some risk of electricshock.Use of soldering iron, oscilloscope, de-soldering iron, small hand toolsand power tools.Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel to assemble product.Clear vision at twenty (20) inches or less, ability to identify anddistinguish colors, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus arenecessary to assemble small parts under a magnifying lamp.Ability to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds to move product and equipment.BenefitsThree (3) weeks paid time offEleven (11) paid holidaysMedical, Dental, and Vision coverageTerm life insurance (includes spouse and dependent)Accidental death and dismemberment insuranceShort- and long-term disabilityFlexible spending account401(k) retirement program with company matchStock purchase programTuition reimbursementPet InsuranceVarious discount programs
