Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and most comprehensiveprovider of cancer care has an exciting opportunity for an experiencedScheduler in Longmont.We offer an outstanding benefit package to include competitive pay, threeweeks of PTO per full calendar year, two personal days, medical,dental, vision, life insurance, company paid short and long termdisability, tuition reimbursement, 401k with company matching, awellness progr ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESScreen potential new patients and collect and process all necessary recordsand documentation prior to schedulingSchedule new patients and established patients in accordance with physicianand/or office guidelinesSchedule outpatient appointments/testingProvide appropriate follow up for missed and cancelled appointmentsWork with practice PFC and authorization personnel to ensure that allinsurance and authorization requirements are in placeResearch and respond to routine, non-routine and complex situations in atimely and professional mannerArrange for patients to have financial counseling as neededSupport the physician's administrative needsWork in collaboration with the other members of the clinic teamDemonstrate an understanding of patient confidentiality to protect the patientand clinic/corporationFollow policies and procedures to contribute to the efficiency of the frontofficeCover for other front office functions as requestedOther duties as may be assigned POSITION REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma. Minimum three years medical office experience withemphasis on scheduling. Medical terminology knowledge.
