Abusiness division of Danfoss, it develops and manufactures high-performancepower systems for heavy-duty vehicles, machines and marine vessels based onsynchronous reluctance assisted permanent magnet technology.We are growingfast globally and would like to invite you to join the award-winning team andto work on the technologies that will enable the world of tomorrow to do morewith less.Job ResponsibilitiesDesign of power electronics, and control circuits for Electric and Hybridelectric vehicles, including DC-DC converters, 3 phase motor drives, andAC inverters.Take design from concept into production, including design,documentation, design validation testing, debug, field return root causefailure analysis, corrective actions, and ECN preparation.Most of the design work is for automotive applications, so experience in therelease of automotive electronics is a plusDFMEA, PFMEA, DFM, DFAInter-departmental communication skills to operate in a cross-functionalorganizationBackground & SkillsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS BS in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in Power Electronics. Analog and digital schematic design, PCB layout, testing and debuggingexperience High volume manufacturing experience Excellent oral and written communication skills A minimum of 7 years related experience is needed for this positionPREFERED QUALIFICATIONS MS in electronics or related field Knowledge of motor control theory Controls systems experience Embedded Firmware experience Design for ISO26262 Functional Safety Experience Automotive Industry Experience with familiarity of the APQP process is aplusCompensation DataHIRING SALARY RANGE:$85,000-$106,000/year.
