- Supervising crew, putting together schedules supervising daily jobs.
- This position will have a split responsibility
- Sumer season will oversee summer construction projects, environmental regulations such as storm water & erosion control
- Winter season will oversee inspection of Mountain for down/hazard tress to improve skiing, assist with snow removal and general slope needs, as well as assist with oversight of grooming crew and winter haul cat needs/event setup
- Paper work documenting i.e. daily tasks, tree work for Forest Service
- Operate hand equipment or tools.
- Operate heavy equipment like loaders, mini track hoes and Bobcats
- Labor (shoveling and digging)
- Ensure understanding and compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
- Other duties, as assigned
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School education or GED
- Previous bike trail experience required
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Must meet companies minimum driving standards and have a current/valid Driver’s license; a successful motor vehicle record background check is required
- Ability to interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with SSRC’s Service Excellence standards
- Must be able to walk on uneven often rugged terrain and tolerate inclement weather.
- Must be able to lift and/or carry equipment and materials weighing 50 or more pounds.
- Must be minimum 18 years of age.
- Must be able to safety operate a chain saw, brushcutter, other hand tools.
- Operating a vehicle could be a function of this position and will require the successful applicant to meet the minimum requirements of the Intrawest Driver’s Standards Policy that includes possessing a valid Driver's License and meet insurability standards.
- This is a hourly non-exempt position and is subject to overtime pay
- Position is required to work weekends, evenings and holidays, as needed.
The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.
Steamboat area base hourly pay range: $16.00 - $26.00 per hour
