SummaryAbout the position:This position will be assigned to the Pikes Peak Lodge located on Peterson Air Force Base. Position requires working irregular schedules, to include weekends, holidays, and all shifts.ResponsibilitiesDuties and Responsibilities Controls keys, key storage, and distribution for all lodging facilities. Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs computerized equipment associated with keyless entry system. Determines if repair is minor or major and requires commercial repair. Operates up to two and one-half (2 1/2) ton NAF vehicle when picking up supplies. Performs minor maintenance checks on vehicle, maintains vehicle log, and cleans vehicle. Makes measurements, cuts wood, and assembles. Paints doors, walls, cabinets, room dividers, etc. Repairs/replaces blinds, draperies, curtain rods and holders. Replaces and/or repairs table tops, table legs, broken furniture, door locks, sliding doors, bed frames, etc. Changes fuses or wall plugs/light covers as necessary. Uses industrial buffers to strip and seal floors and shampoos carpets. Performs other related duties as assigned. This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements.
