analyst at North American Aerospace Defense command (NORAD) and U.S.

Northern Command at the Combatant Command level supporting air,

land, maritime, artic and civil support theater campaign plans,

This position is designated by the Air Force as a Test

Designated Position (TDP) under the AF Civilian Drug Testing

Program. As a mandatory requirement for employment in this TDP,

the incumbent is (A) to refrain from use of illegal drug (cont)

(cont) (B) if required, to submit to urinalysis testing. The

selectee must sign a statement acknowledge the position occupied

is identified as a TDP.

In the performance of assigned duties, employee uses tact,

QualificationsThis position is designated as a KEY POSITION IAW AFI 36-507.

Duties of this position are essential to the accomplishment of

QUALIFICATIONS: In order to qualify, you must meet the

specialized experience requirements described in the Office of

Personnel Management (OPM) Standards for General Schedule

Administrative and Management, Management and Program Analysis

Series, 0343.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1)

year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-12, or

equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience

includes thorough knowledge of combatant command assigned missions,

operations, plans, objectives, policies along with a comprehensive

knowledge of management and organizational techniques, as applied in

accordance with Joint Staff and Service capabilities and resourcing

processes in performing a wide variety of analytical studies and

assessments related to mission and functional capabilities

development, shortfall identification, mitigation strategies, risk

assessment and resourcing.FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS)

POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable

time-inĀ­-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at

the GS-12 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements

for the GS-13 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position

involved in overall planning and execution of military

- Skill in designing and conducting studies, assessments,

preparing solutions to resolve substantive problems and issues

of effectiveness and efficiency of combatant command mission

sets across multiple domains and functional areas.

- Skill in utilizing data to conduct analysis, draw conclusions,

devise recommended solutions, and package the entire process in

briefings, papers, or reports suitable for top management use

and decision-making

ACTIVE DUTY SERVICE MEMBERS: The VOW Act requires agencies to
