- Additionally, support drafting & recommending space test range policy, procedures, and concept development to: o Support effective space test and training range operations o Provide independent assessments of safety o Mission protection/ security implications of planned range activities o Conduct advanced mission planning and deconfliction of range operations o Coordinate and scheduling range support to test and training missions o Employ and on-board range visualization o Planning, and scheduling tools o Support real-time safety & security monitoring of space range activities
- Integrate across the USSF organizations, HQ STARCOM and SSC Divisions, Deltas and range customers to support range operations.
- Innovates process improvements to ensure compliance and fulfillment while devising and implementing process improvement methods derived from internal and external integrated process team actions
- Recommends, develops, and integrates enterprise concepts and recommendations to capitalize on cross range best practices, efficiencies and standardization
- Vigorously pursue initiatives to improve the quality, efficiencies, and timeliness of Department and enterprise solutions, products or services
- Provide expert organizational support for surges or ad hoc or special projects, as requested
- Provide office integration, communication, coordination, and planning support for NSTTC IPO program
- Perform other duties as assigned Education / Certifications
- Bachelor's Degree, relevant work experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree Skills / Experience Required
- Minimum of ten (10) years of DoD work experience
- Provide recommendations to senior leadership to help ensure mission success
- Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines
- Capable of conveying complex information in a simplistic manner
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong self-starter requiring no supervision
- Able to take proactive measures to prevent problems rather than reactive by nature
- Strong verbal and written communication to effectively express concepts, plans, and proposals Security Clearance Must be a U.S. Citizen.
