POSITION: Maintenance SupervisorDUTIES: Responsible for supervising an assigned maintenance crew andcoordinating with operations. The incumbent will possess an in-depthknowledge of hydraulic systems, excellent troubleshooting, and strongleadership abilities. Training the workforce on safe work practices Implementing a preventive maintenance program Planning and follow through on maintenance repairs Developing new skill levels for members of assigned maintenance crews Enforcement of company policies Equipment functionality and alignment Scheduling employee training sessions and meetings Maintaining KRONOS pay system by reviewing, editing, and approvingemployee timecards daily Assisting in procuring, organizing, and inventorying parts and materialsneeded for repairs Implementation of Lean manufacturing principlesREQUIREMENTS: Two-year degree in the mechanical field, electrical field, or acompleted accredited apprenticeship and/or Technical experience with highvoltage systems, motor control, process automation with four years ofexperience in mechanical or electrical maintenanceOTHER REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of hydraulic systems Proficient in blueprint reading and troubleshooting of mechanicaloperations of equipment Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Strong leadership and communication skills Must be available to be on call and assist personnel in times of emergencyand business needs Subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions. Exposed toelevated noise levels, vibrations, and extreme cold and heat. PhysicalHazards-Close proximity to moving parts and electrical currents, workingon scaffolding and high places, exposure to natural gas, high heat, hotsurfaces, molten metal, chemicals, oils, and lubricants. Atmosphericconditions may require use of a respirator Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach,stand, walk, push, pull, lift, carry, finger, grasp, feel, talk tocommunicate, speak over public address system, hear, and make repetitivemotions. Needs to see to read prints, inspect and repair.
