Denham Resources has an excellent opportunity with one of their US clients for a Human Resources Manager that is committed to recruiting top talent and providing their employees with strong leadership guidance. Become part of this highly successful and growing manufacturer.
- Manage the employment lifecycle from talent acquisition, onboarding, training and development, succession planning and off boarding.
-Administration of payroll, benefits, employee relations, health and safety, and career development.
-Partner with plant management to drive talent and performance management processes and solutions in a union work environment in addition to compensation planning.
-Oversight for legal investigations, substantiation of claims and appropriate resolution.
-Oversees the Safety Department to assure the plant meets the health and safety standards and requirements and is involved with accident investigations and workers compensation claims.
-Maintain compliance with state and federal employment laws and incorporating into policies, procedures and legal practices.
Requirements:
-Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent is preferred.
-5-10 years of experience in Human Resources in manufacturing, preferably in a Union environment, preferably 5 years in Human Resources Management position.
-Bilingual Spanish and English is highly preferred.
-SPHR or PHR certification preferred.
-Team management, leadership and development skills.
-Strong knowledge of HR compliance and current regulations and federal and state employment and labor law.
-Effective organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
-Proficient level with Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook required.
